Author: The NHSO SAFE Unit has received an award from the Governor’s Highway Safety Program for their DWI arrest in 2011. Cpl. J. S. Pope received the award at the beginning of the UNCW men’s basketball game Friday night. The SAFE unit made over 200 DWI arrest in 2011.
